Yes...

I'm already "decorating" for St. Patrick's Day! But, it is actually one of my favorite holidays. (You're thinking, "St. Patrick's Day?") Well, yes! Maybe it's because I'm quite proud that I've got some Irish blood running through my veins because of my Irish heritage and I can truly enjoy this day to celebrate Irish things. Now, it's not like my grandparents arrived on a boat, but I do have that ancestory. So, why not enjoy it?

I think we have some Irish blood in us too - it's not a lot, but enough to say that we have it! =)

My great, great, great grandfather (I think thats the right number of 'greats.') came over from Ireland. My Grandpa is half Irish I believe. So, I guess that makes us 1/8th Irish. :)

Hello Lacey!
I absolutely LOVE the way you did your blog in Irish stuff...It gives me such a thrill to see it: I love the color green best of all! (I`ve really enjoyed other colors you`ve done, such as the wine red, but this..! Ahh! :))And beautiful photos of Ireland. I totally understand why you decorated already!

My Mum`s Mum is Irish! But I forget from which town. She moved to Canada...
We`re also Scottish. But I prefer Ireland! My tenth Birthday theme was Ireland, and my Mum decorated BEAUTIFULLY for it!
Until later then! Bye!

Irish blood or not I have been fascinated with the culture for years and years and years--I remember the first irish tape (yep, I said tape!) I heard as a yound teen--I was hooked!...so how fun to see your blog today! How do you decorated for it? Lots of green here and there!? Celtic music plays in my room all year long! But we definitely enjoy St. Pat's day with corn beef and caggage, irish soda bread, and potatoes with the Flaughers each 17th day of March! Bunny has lots of Irish blood! Plus the history of St. Patrick's captivity in Ireland as a young man and his return as a missionary to evanglize Ireland later is powerful and challenging! A day worth celebrating! Love you dear friend!!!!!
