"If we could push ajar the gates of life,
And stand within, and all God's working see,
We might interpret all this doubt and strife,
And for each mystery could find a key.

"But not today. Then be content, poor heart;
God's plans, like lilies pure and white, unfold.
We must not tear the close-shut leaves apart--
Time will reveal the calyxes of gold.

"And if, through patient toil, we reach the land
Where tired feet, with sandals loosed, may rest,
When we shall clearly know and understand,
I think that we shall say, 'God knew best."

Wow, that is so, so good! Just what I needed today. Thanks so much!
I'm going to copy it into my journal.

Hey Lacey,

I love your Autumn theme for your blog! It's adorable! And thanks for posting this quote! I never cease to be encouraged by your wonderfully special, encouraging, and challanging posts as well as your absolutely lovely pictures that go along with them! It was SO.... wonderful to see you at the wedding Saturday, and to get to visit. It makes me miss you, and all the wonderful old times, and memories so badly!!! We HAVE to get together again, and reminisce, and spend a few days together! That would be so.... much fun! Anyways.....thought I'd leave you a note, and say I love your new look on your blog, and I love the person behind it! You've been a special, and wonderful friend in my life Lacey, and I'm so grateful for the influence you've had on my life! We really need to get together for a few days! That would be SO.... fun! Thanks for being an example to me of a Godly, and gentle woman waiting on the Lord! I love ya Lace!

Love, and Hugs!

My computer doesn't always show backgrounds on people's blogs, but today it's cooperating. Love, love your background and all the little changes you've made!
