Be Still, My Soul

"Be still, my soul: the Lord is on thy side.
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain.
Leave to thy God to order and provide;
In every change, He faithful will remain.
Be still, my soul: thy best, thy heavenly Friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end."

What a beautiful picture, and a perfect quote to go with it! I can not tell you how much this was perfect for me to see this today! I was having a rather frusterating morning, and felt burdened down with pain, and grief, and then I read this! I just felt the Lord saying to me, bear this patiently child, leave it to me to order, and provide! Rest child, let your soul be still for a minute! Thank-you so.... much Lacey! The Lord definately does speak even through blogs! Thanks also for the quote any problem to small to be turned into a prayer is to small to be turned into a burden! I feel like just sitting down hear for a minute, and letting my soul rest! Thanks Lacey! You are such a blessing!

Love, and Hugs To You!

OH...I've always treasured that hymn! And your picture with it is so refreshing!! If we'd only "Be still" before HIM more, we then could have 'true rest' for our souls. For He is the only One who can bestow such peace! Love you, Lacey!

Thanks, Tori, Bekah and Abi! The first verse to that hymn was really perfect for me, one day. I've heard that song throughout my life, but the words hadn't quite resonated with me.
